TPM ( Test Program Management ) A new approach and tool solution for controlling production test along the device life cycle and as such introducing a more automated approach with better quality and less human errors prone. Use TPM for - Optimize test flow. - Optimize usage of primary sets. - Merge for collaborative test development. Most of the challenges related to proper handling of test programs and tester resources. The challenges related to the test engineering and management tasks are covered by TPM tool such as: - Merging tests into a unified test program. - Enabling multiple teams to work on the same test program while efficiently utilizing tester resources. - Efficient update procedures of test programs after release. - Management monitoring on changes in the test which may have been introduced in remote locations or by subcontractors. - Combining multiple devices test programs for MCM.
